Music

Below are the lyrics of the two audition pieces.

“Otra Noche”

Music and Lyrics by Lynette Brehm
Spanish version by Thania Sanz

Despierta y sola aqui en mi cuarto
Triste pensando en ti
Recordando tu mirada
Que alumbra esta noche sin dormir

Entre sombras las paredes
Se mueven se burlan de mi
Invadiendo esta casa
Estan aqui

CHORUS
Otra noche, otra noche

CHORUS
Otra noche, otra noche
dando vueltas y mil reproches oh si, sin ti
Que tormenta estar despierta
y deseando que no amanezca, otra vez

El unico que quiero es que al despertar, oh si
Estes a mi lado y poderte acariciar
Al dormirme son tus brazos mi calma
Que no sea solo un sueno al despertar

CHORUS

“We’re Meant To Be Together”

Music and Lyrics by Lynette Brehm
Copyright Brehm Music Publishing 2007 (SESAC)

Sometimes I try so hard to figure you out
But I just don’t know and I keep on missin’ out
You go one way and I go another
It seems we never come together

So I sit and think where did I go wrong
Did I miss the sign?  Did I cross that line?
Did I miss forever, yeah

CHORUS
Why can’t you believe?
And why can’t you love me?  Yeah, yeah
You know we’re meant to be together
Why can’t you see?
Its all right here with you and me, yeah, yeah
You know we’re meant to be together

So I sit here now and I write this song
Since I can’t be with you I might as well
Just sing along
But I hate it, I can’t take it
A night alone in this room
My imagination keeps bringing me back to you

CHORUS

Can’t you see what’s being said
Behind my eyes
Its right there, you don’t have to look
Very far to realize

CHORUS
