About Us


Music In The Schools is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Lynette Brehm, native San Antonian and a graduate of the Northeast Independent School District fine arts program.  She started Music In The Schools for the purpose of bringing much needed financial support to music programs in the state of Texas so that every child has the opportunity to participate in a diverse and rich music curriculum.

The organization touches the lives of music students across the state and gives them unique opportunities to perform, learn and even record in the studio; enriching their lives as musicians.

During the first year of operation, Music In The Schools continues to expand and is proud to announce their first national sponsor with the US Army All-American Bowl.  Countless hours of hard work and dedication by the Music In The Schools leadership and volunteers have made this partnership possible.
